避免四種網(wǎng)上求職的錯(cuò)誤
Don't just hit up the big guys. 不要僅僅只瞄準(zhǔn)大型的招聘網(wǎng)站。
Big-name websites like Monster and CareerBuilder are wonderful resources for online job hunting， but don't stop there. They charge fees that some smaller companies can't afford or don't believe in paying. Make sure to check out smaller job boards or job board aggregates such as indeed.com to find more online gigs.
大網(wǎng)站的確會(huì)為求職者提供更多的工作機(jī)會(huì)，但也絕對不要忽視小型的求職網(wǎng)站。不能排除有的小公司無法向大網(wǎng)站支付登廣告的費(fèi)用，所以記得也不要漏掉小型的求職網(wǎng)。
Don't use your company's email to job-hunt. 不要用在職公司郵箱投遞簡歷（包括注冊招聘網(wǎng)站時(shí)要使用的郵箱）。
Even if your company says it's OK to use their email server to send out resumes， don't do it. You can get in trouble with your existing company， plus it won't look like a move in good taste to the prospective employer if you use your work email. Another setback： If you're contacted in the future and are no longer at your current job， you'll miss the message. Set up one email account with a professional handle （your name，for example） and stick to that.即便是你的公司告訴你可以用公司郵箱投遞其他工作的簡歷，也不要那么干！除了冒著得罪現(xiàn)有老板的危險(xiǎn)以外，如果跳槽、這個(gè)郵件地址則可能隨時(shí)失效，因而錯(cuò)過一些對你很重要的招聘信息。
Don't blast off your resume. 不要到處亂投簡歷。
Blast out your resume， but with some personal attention. Don't just fire it off into the Internet abyss. More importantly， a customized cover letter can go a long way to win over an employer， so be sure to take the time to customize one as best you can.
不要把一份統(tǒng)一式樣的簡歷漫天投。你的簡歷應(yīng)該有針對性、使公司感到是專門為應(yīng)聘這個(gè)特定職位而來。這樣才能獲得更多面試機(jī)會(huì)。
Consider your privacy. 保留一點(diǎn)個(gè)人隱私。
While you may not want to post your contact information， that's OK for many people who see it as a move from someone who is Internet-savvy. Be sure to check out the privacy settings when posting your resume and do what feels right for you——and for your future career.
投簡歷是不要把所有個(gè)人信息都透露給對方公司，人們不會(huì)因此而生氣，反倒會(huì)覺得是成熟網(wǎng)絡(luò)使用者的做法。
